My journey to making money online

What I have learned so far from all my research, reading articles, browsing forums and buying products is:

TWO things always cross my eyes!

1. Pushbutton systems
   that promise heaven, pulling your money out of your pocket and very seldom deliver what the promise.
   You see I am not really convinced here – I get pitched daily from some list – most of the mails offer the same – the mails either want to sell you some revoltionary clickbank product or give you some FREEBIE, which you get after you have subscribed to yet another list.
   I confess – I got driven to subscribe to countless lists – just to unsubscribe again after having been spammed AND I have also bought quite a few products hoping this time it’s the answer to my question.

2. Content driven, keyword rich Sites in a niche
   The other thing I have been running across over and over again – ever since I started researching years ago – is the more professional approach.

   Build sites on your interest (eg gardening), optimate them regarding keywords and really deliver GOOD content.

   Content that helps people in the given niche, that give your readers quality and makes them come back to your site.

   To me that seems to be the single best approach to earning your living online.

Of course that means WORK
NO push buttons
NO short cuts

Even some of the products I bought take this approach – some more than others – they mostly differ in their approach regarding the quality of content.

DON’T get sucked in on low quality content – your readers will kick your ass! Some even try to convince you to create content automatically to trick the search engines – what a BS – you may even succeed tricking the search engines BUT who the heck thinks that he can trick the readers????

Both – as far as I am concerned – legitimate ways to take – BUT I totally prefer SBI for two reasons:

1. Money/Costs
   While Niche Blitzkrieg “only” costs a one time fee of $ 42,95 – SBI costs either $ 299,– per year or $ 29,90 per month. BUT in fact they work out at the same price if one looks a bit closer, while SBI overdelivers.

   With Niche Blitzkrieg (or any other legitimate programm) you have to take into consideration that only the monthly fees for hosting, domain and autoresponder works out at approx $ 25,–.

   SBI includes all of that and a lot more – let alone their automatic keyword research tool is worth the money! And they offer a lot – read the post on SBI – more.

   You get the point – don’t you?
   

2. All in One Service
   There is no need to go anywhere else, they cover it all.
   No need to subscribe to 25+ lists, just to get spammed daily with useless salespitches.
   No need to risk in getting persuaded to fall for one of the pitches (just because it’s written soooo very convincing) – just to find out it’s yet another useless thing you bought – at best to find out it’s the same thing you read weeks ago – it just had a different title.

Sidenote! At the moment everybody is talking about “the money is in the list” – done right it is absolutely true. Of course it is very easy money, if you collect your site visitor’s emailadresses and occasionally send them valuable information. Of course they will buy the book, the product or whatever else you recommend.

Conclusion

After having done 3 months of intensive research I concluded, that honest content written and promoted intelligently is the only way to succeed online.

And so far the only place I found, that really delivers and keeps it’s promises is Ken Evoy’s SBI.

Back in January 2011 I wrote a post about SBI! for the first time.

I decided to write this one to go a bit more into detail

• After weeks of worthless search for a legitimate way to earn my living online.
• After even more weeks of deep frustration about all that I could find were those freaky “click bank sales pitch pages” taking about 10 clicks to get them off your screens.
• After weeks of being spammed by some list owners on a daily basis – ALL offering the same stuff! Promising heaven!
• After having been sucked in to buy another few “no brainer” – “fool proof” “push button” – products! (fool I am!) – by the way they don’t work
• After weeks of wrecking my brain about being too damn stupid making just a few bucks. And I tell you what – in fact I am quite intelligent (at least they always told me at school and job)

And here I am still not earning a single dollar!
Does that sound familiar for you?

As soon as I finished school I was determined not to hit a 9-5 job – that’s some 25 years ago – guess what I work a 9-5 job and I wanted to leave it from day one!!!

I started of quite well – I worked as a stage worker for rockconcerts, BUT as soon as my son was born in 1991, it was no question at all for me to take respondsibility and working late hours, being away for weeks wasn’t my idea of being a good father.

BUT he is 20 now – no excuse anymore for me still working 9-5!

It even gets worse – back in October 1996 I was really badly injured and only just survived. (but that’s a totally different story ) It just made me think about life and my dreams even more intensivly than I ever did before. I promised myself

No more excuses!
No more doing I don’t want to do!
Go for your dreams AND live them!

BUT

That is some 15 years ago AND I have to admit I failed to keep that promise – SO FAR!
